Phew..  I voted for Wake Up literally every round.  It's a good song and all, but definitely not the best Ozma song.

wake up would be much better if it wasn't so overproduced.

i nice stripped-down acoustic version would be Samuel...

Part of its appeal is that it is how it is.  A stripped-down acoustic version would lose all of that energy.  The chorus vocals are meant to be shouted.  Anything less would be panh.

exactly. shouting the chorus over acoustic guitars wouldn't work as well.

yeah i LOVE the shouted chorus ! it's my favorite part about "Wake Up"

fair enough, i suppose. but no, it wouldn't work at all for me if they weren't shouted. i would be taken out of the song if it was acoustic and the chorus just sung in a different manner, wouldn't work
