Here we go, starting off the "Bootleg of the Month" to registered members of the OzmaFans Forum. I don't think Ozma will mind, they never did in the past.

This month's selection is from Ozma's 2000 Digivent. I do not have any more details on this event at this time.

[links removed, it's not Feb-05 anymore]

If anyone has any more information, please feel free to share!

EDIT: Acoustic set. They seem to be tagged to say "divergent". Probably a typo.

i like where this is going. thank you.

No problem. I think we should be fine to host at least one bootleg per month with our current bandwidth requirements.

Who knows, maybe we can do more than this!

it was an online show hosted at digivent.com, which may or may not still actually exist.  i know the site was down for a long time, and reappeared relatively recently, but the archived shows weren't actually working.  someone can feel free to try that again.  i don't know what city it was based from or anything like that.

also, if memory serves, the program was refered to as "backstage pass"

there were interview segments as well, but like a fool, i didn't include them in my recording of the stream.  I'm assuming you posted my rip, as it's the one that seems to be going around the most.  there are apparently better mp3s out there though I've been told.  are there interview bits in this recording anyone?

that's probably my fault.  it's a well documented fact that i was very stupid in 2001.

OMGWTFBBQ

i would like to take this opportunity to give my formal blessing to the bootleg of the month idea.

Kyosho

I tried emailing the folks who run Digevent about the Ozma show a couple months ago. To see if they've got a back-up somewhere or something. Unsurprisingly, my email bounced back.
I'll be rising high above the earth so soon, and the tears I cry might turn into the rain that gently falls upon your window. You'll never know.

hankataks

oh, rain of the golden gorilla is one of my favourite ozma songs! i haven't heard this in a long time! sweet!

hankataks

too bad about the quality, though... are there better out there?

it was captured from a streaming video online, and through relatively primative (yet complicated) means before i knew how to record right off my wave out like i'd do it now.  somebody told me that they found higher quality versions of these songs (on soulseek i think), but i've never heard them.
