But even moreso, I think I'd like to hear the Beatles cover Daniel Brummel & The Contraband's "In My Life."

Oh my God, you better be kidding.

what the fuck do you think?  of course he's kidding.

Anyway, I didn't intend to suggest that it's a stupid thing to say, but I just thought it was an increadibly funny question for the sheer absurdity of it.  You know, because The Beatles are half-dead now, existed decades prior to ozma, and are generally considered to be a better, more important band (not to start that argument up again mind you).

Jason, I want to believe it, but based on some people's posts in other threads, I cannot tell what is lame jokes and what is actual incredible ignorance.

And my comment was tongue in cheek as well.

By the way, I love Ozma, but I don't think we need to explain to me that a band that put out a discography that dwarfs Ozma in comparision, is still adored 40 years later and has influenced an entire huge genre of music is a more important band.  I did gradumidate college and I moved out from under the rock a few months ago, so...

:laugh:Ã,  Sorry, I figured my "joke" was so conveniently ridiculous that it would be clear I was obviously kidding.   ...but yeah, I guess you can never be too sure with the internet.

Cade

A "Perfect Tour" for me wouldn't consist of The Beatles.  Yeah, I said it.

Kurtzie

Don't worry I knew it was a joke, but yeah online is always tough with that stuff. They need a sarcasm smiley.

Ozma, Superdrag, and the Smoking Popes. Two out of that three are already working reunions.

Come on Superdrag.

I would seriously sell body parts for tickets to that thing.

my friends band opened for superdrag, and they were super.

Axolotl

Ozma, Superdrag, Hum

in any given order, Hum preferably being the main event.

All would require reuniting between that bands, Ozma is back together, Hum has played 2 official reunion shows since 2003, Superdrag.... cross your fingers i guess...

Being a proud atheist makes it a little painful for me.

tom

yeah...it is painful to listen to, i mean superdrag had some "pro-christian" lyrics...but not full songs devoted just to god and jesus christ...it sucks.

Kurtzie

Yeah. I can't deal with Christian Rock; its a bit too much to swallow.

He recently released a song on his myspace called Watch Me Walk Away that seems to be quite secular.  It's full band and very Superdrag-ish.

Everyone should check it out.

Fantastic Max

He has a wide range of songs. Only like 3 or 4 are all christian-based, the rest are just pretty secular songs, lighthearted though.
