Very good as well, played another new song they named "The cool song" um... different songs played tonight were.

Utsukushi Shibuya
You know the story/Landing of Yuri
um... I think something else, but I forget.

During the Mae Shi's set some people we're being huge jackasses and I hope they get anal cancer.

Met Sam tonight, very nice guy, very cool guy, and he got the hook up!  Was on stage the whole time, lucky punk!

You were supposed to keep that on the down low!Ã,  But I'm actually jealous, because I meant to pick one up for myself and I never did.Ã,  oh well.Ã,  All that was left was dirty towels.

Anyway, the "other" band is Satisfaction, and I fucking LOVE them.Ã,  They are absolutely some of the nicest people I've ever met, and they put on a WONDERFUL show--even though Michael hit me in the head with his guitar.Ã,  They are so great, and I just wish I'd been familiar with them before the actual show.Ã,  I've got to get a CD and such.

Anyway, it was great to hear Shibuya.Ã,  I longed for Immigration & Los Angeles, but maybe in another life.Ã,  I won't push it.

and also: Samantha yelled out "Samuel" while I was trying to sneak away, so I got to meet her! being my first OFFer I got to meet.Ã,  She introduced me to her friend and sister I believe, and to Dylan.Ã,  All very super nice people.Ã,  I also got to meet David and talk with him for a bit which was great--also super nice and awesome.Ã,  It was wonderful to finally meet OFFers, I just wish I'd been able to get out to the front on the first night.

How was Mae Shi tonight then?
Unterreiner is tall and surprisingly thin, given that the floor of his closet is stacked high with junk food. Boxes and bags of Doritos, Twinkies and Ho-Hos spill out onto the floor. He has towels around his window to keep out the cold air at night. "I hate this old house," he said bitterly, then changed the name of an unfinished track to "Cold Day."

I thought they put on a really good show.Ã,  I do think they're incredibly creative and talented and funny.Ã,  I feel like they're a breath of fresh air.Ã,  I've never really seen anything like that, and I'm glad I got to.Ã,  It just seems like "fun" to me--whether or not the music is "appealing."

I really dug this show compared to last nights. I don't know if it was because I got used to the previous bands after hearing them the night before, or the general cool people around me, but it was awsome. Satisfaction was fantastic, but some guy got inbetween me and felow OFFer Jeff rom Ohio, and really headbanged to them, so that was kinda distracting. Mae Shi was fucking FANTASTIC compared to last night, me and my friend Johnathan thought they were diffrent-so/so the night before, but this show, they were on (I also tok a picture of the guitarist, and showed it to him since he was right in front of me). Ozma was awsome, as usual, and the crowed was crazy compared to last night. Every one was push happy, and these two awsome girls next to me help me ward off people trying to shove themselves into the front of the stage, but there was so much energy from te crowd, it was fantastic.

:o and  :) to the girl who was trying to find her glasses, and didn't take shit from anyone around her. Glad she found her glasses.

Hey.  :)

I also found The Mae Shi much more enjoyable on the second night, and I'm not completely sure why.  It was partly because I was right up by the stage so I could experience more of their crazy antics.  And this may have been my imagination, but I thought the lead singer's mike may not have been turned up as much as on the first night.

Ozma were, of course, absolutely Samuel again.  I thought the pushing and shoving in the crowd were excessive, though.  I certainly enjoy rocking out to the music, but I don't like getting shoved the whole time; that just makes it harder for me to pay attention to what's going on on the stage.  I moved off to the side (in front of Jose) early in the set to get away from the excessive roughness.  I was still pretty close to the stage, fortunately, in about the third row.

I think it's just that last photo of her that makes her look especially emaciated.  I think those at the show will agree she didn't really look like that in person.

Also, it didn't seem that anyone mentioned that hostile crowd surfing/shoe stealing going on the second night...
Two people surfed onto stage in San Diego, and I was surprised that no one did it the night of the actual reunion show.

However, on March 13th it was fucking insane.Ã,  There must have been at least 10 different instances of crowd surfing.Ã,  I thought it started during Baseball--but correct me if I'm wrong.Ã,  And then, the people who didn't like the crowd surfers were taking their shoes and throwing them into the crowd.
And this ONE DUDE wanted his shoe back, so he stood on the speakers right in front of the stage, and demanded that he get his shoes back before he moved.Ã,  UNCOOL.Ã,  His shoe was long gone.

Who the fuck did that dude think he was!?Ã,  Are you on these boards, dude?Ã,  Show yourself!

I saw Ryen with an annoyed look on his face when someone was standing up there for a long time; I'm guessing this was the same incident.

Indeed.  She has gotten quite skinny yes, but I wouldn't say unhealthy skinny.

It is funny how you can get tired of something someone does, and the other person ends up being the sympathetic character. It feels like some shitty Apatow movie.

Yep, that was it.Ã,  The band didn't seem especially thrilled by the crowd surfers being dumped onto the stage--One hit Ryen's speaker, and another pushed into his footpedals.Ã,  But that guy who actually stood up in front of everyone was SUCH A TOOL!

noonchild

I don't think I ever saw Ryen not look annoyed...
